Couldn't figure out where to drop this....figured this was as good as any since we don't have a "pro" wrestling thread.....But I saw on twitter this morning the WWE have released Cain Velasquez

Figured as much, he's shot physically due to injuries. Isn't a big name for WWE. They only brought him in 'cause Saudi wanted a celebrity, and it's chance for Brock to "revenge" a loss

Yeah Cain's body is shot.....although there were rumors yesterday of Cain going back to MMA but I don't think he can stay healthy

I mean, Cruz did it and he looked great. His knees were gone. Might not be same for the Cejudo fight, but never say never when it comes to that.

I think the extra 100 pounds on Cain kill his knees more than it did on Cruz......obviously without knowing the exact extent of each injury

Hard to say with so much time off of mma what his body still can do. But at 38 the clock is against him, when he came back last time he shouldnt have fought a beast like Ngannou which basically retired him after that quick beating.
