Good to see Jones defending I guess as the division is getting interesting again. Just too bad Reyes last win was against a former MW who has been getting starched on a regular basis of late.

Reyes is undefeated as well correct? That alone should be enough to sell the fight....Reyes is the clear number 1 contender IMO followed by Anderson.....I am going to assume Anderson does not take another fight and will wait for the winner of this one

I dont mind the Reyes fight happening but then you Anderson and Yan who are both about equal that might as well fight to have a #1 fight and both calling for title fights. Might as well have an eliminator in the time being then their is no question.

Anderson might be more deserving after finishing Walker then Jan winning his sparring match against Jacare, but at the same time how long is that wait? and its not guaranteed....

Agreed, it depends on how quickly Jones wants to turnaround and fight again. If it's in the next 3-4 months Anderson should just wait

Corey Anderson should have got this shot, he's been beating real 205'rs and looked great last time out too......but Reyes should be a tough test for Jones, even if his last 2 wins were over a shell of a fighter in Wiedman and a loss in reality to Volkan. Jan's issue is that his last 3 fights have been against 185'rs, a win, a loss and a borefest.

I agree, Reyes does pose a better threat due to his size and rangy striking....although Anderson looked good in his last fight Jones generally eats wrestlers for breakfast.

If Jones gets by Reyes, which I think we all assume he will, Anderson is definitely next

I think Anderson has agreed to a fight with Jan which is a good idea instead of sitting on his hands and waiting.

In all honesty, none of these fights interest me. Jones is on another level compared to all of them.

If I'm Anderson I'd be waiting, however, that is a crap shoot as to whether it'd work or not, but I think with Jones' history of a fairly quick turnaround, I think it would be a safe gamble

Agreed, Jones is certainly on a different level to the rest of the division, but I am glad he's fighting

I'm glad he's fighting too, but a non juiced Jones is almost beatable considering he had a close fight against Santos and Santos was injured most of the fight. That being said Jones didnt use his wrestling which is a game changer at any point.
