Apparently it's Cerorne vs McGregor for Jan 18th. Rumour at the moment, both teasing it.

I don't like it at this point. Too late, Cerrone is done as a high level fighter. Pretty easy fight for the Paper champ

Not sure why Gaethje vs Mcgregor isnt made? If the fight was suppose to happen before why not again? You would think Paper champ would want a good standup fight like that...

If this fight is to get Khabib next, then fuck no......but Conor has had one fight in 3 years, he needs a tune up fight to get going again, and although Cerrone is clearly not a tune up, it's more in line with what should be next for Conor...….again, assuming this is not a one fight and Khabib is next deal.

A bit of a rumour I guess...….but Dan Hardy confirmed on his podcast last week that he's in the USADA pool and is looking to fight possibly around March next year. No opponent in mind but did seem to like the idea of Diego Sanchez when asked about him.

i like this fight too, both guys need a high ranking win if they are going to call for title, i'm pulling for Edwards in this one as TW is one of my more disliked fighters in the UFC.

I'm happy their making him have a fight before getting gifted another title shot, at least if he should beat a top contender it could be justified a bit. Not just the fact that "Conor wants a rematch".

I suppose it's a decent fight, but like Merc said, 7 years away is an eternity in this game......I just hope Hardy, as much as I don't like him, is 100% healthy

Diego would seem the perfect fit, a bit of a name and not exactly in the prime of his career too. If not Diego, I quite like Joe Lauzon maybe. Assuming Dan still intends the fight to be at 155.....if not, Matt Brown would be cool.

Yes, Dan talked about fighting at 155 a while back and got himself into shape to do so. Whether that is where he fights or not, I don't know.

Not a bad fight I guess, contenders starting to pile up at 205 anyhow, Blanchowicz, Cannonier, Anderson and even Santos and Smith still there.

Ben Askren announced retirement , due to hip surgery he says....too bad I wanted to see him get at least one more good beating but I think he must realize his can crushing days are over in the UFC.

Literally the biggest physical mismatch surely? Latifi is tiny in height and size compared to Lewis. Not only that, Latifi gets rocked badly at LHW. Lewis gonna crack him good. Just do Lewis vs Ngannou 2, it's going to be a completely different fight, the one we deserved.

I totally agree with both you, I seen it at first but almost thought it was a joke, he get's beat up bad by a guy at 205 which earns him a shot at a top HW??? I agree with Merc Nagannou-Lewis 2 is the fight to make.

I must be stupid......because I think this is a very winnable fight for Latifi. Common sense says Lewis wins because he has to land at least one of his huge kicks or punches......but I have this vision of Latifi rushing him in every round and grinding out a win on the ground.

I cant see Latifi keeping Lewis down even if he gets him there, Lewis is a good scrambler for his size and I think Latifi will get worn down trying to take the big man down.

True, Lewis is very good at scrambling to his feet. I still think he'll be taken down and beaten though. I'm just not so sure it's as easy a fight for Lewis as you guys do.

So Conor will get a title shot coming off 1 win in 3 years with that win taking place in a different weight class than the one he'll fight for the title, and Aldo will get a title shot coming off 2 losses and never having won a fight in the division he'll be fighting for the title......yes Dana, great fucking work you tool
