Re: All things PFL related
I think it's safe to say, when the PFL started there was a lot of skepticism on whether the fighters would actually get paid in the end. It sounded nice, that winners would walk away with 1 million dollars but many thought the fighters would end up being screwed in the end. That has not happened and the PFL has made many fighters rich, earning more money than they ever would have with Bellator or the UFC. So question: Do more fighters now jump ship and sign to fight with the PFL?

Yeah, if I was a mid range UFC fighter, I'd be seriously considering signing here. Now proven that they'll pay, it's worth taking a step back to fight lower level guys and girls for as good or better money.

Yes, he's had reasonable success there. So have guys like Vinny Magalhaes, he won $1million last time round. I would imagine dudes around 15-30 ranked in the UFC would have very real chances of winning one of their seasons in PFL, and if not are usually guaranteed around 4-5 fights a year on some decent money too. It's well worth it for them now it's proven they are good for the cash.

Doesn't seem to be much out there, but on MMA Payout after one of the playoff events, it looks like every fighter pretty much made $25k, a few made $50k. That's likely as good or better as mid level UFC fighters are being paid.

Not awesome and so underpaid.....but in the grand scheme of things, that's slightly over double what you're going to make on your first UFC contract and around the same or slightly less than your 2nd UFC contractBluenoseGreig wrote:Kickass32 wrote:How much are the fighters making in each of the fights leading up to the finals?
